Census 2021 help from Communities First

On Sunday 21 March 2021, everyone in England and Wales will have to fill in the Census questionnaire. Most households will soon start to receive access codes so they can fill in the form online.

The Census is a unique survey that happens every 10 years and started in 1801. It gives a snapshot of all the people and households in England and Wales. It calculates key statistics about who lives in the country – from age to relationship status. It then passes this information on to organisations such as local authorities and charities, so they are better informed as to how to provide services.

It’s important that everyone fills in the Census questionnaire. Without the information you share, it is more difficult to understand our community’s needs and to plan and fund public services accordingly.

Community First are currently a hosting centre for Census 2021, so if anyone or someone you know may have difficulty filling in the online form, please get in contact with Community First so they can assist them.

Community First will be running the hosting centre at their Community Hub, 5 Leeming Road, Borehamwood, WD6 4EB.
