Community Grants
 Voluntary organisations and community groups that celebrate Hertsmere’s diverse communities and promote inclusion across the borough could qualify for a funding boost of up to £2,500. To reflect the aspirations set out in our updated Vision, and the success of the scheme last year, the 2025/26 community grants programme is encouraging applications from groups and organisations that celebrate Hertsmere’s diverse communities and support inclusion, as well as those involving creativity in its widest sense. We’re especially looking forward to applications from new organisations, but also welcome previous applicants. The funding may cover revenue or capital costs as a ‘one-off’ grant for equipment, a specific project, event or programme of events. Examples of organisations supported last year through the Community Grant Scheme are Borehamwood Foodbank, Rennie Grove Peace Hospice and Herts Inclusive Theatre with different projects all aimed at supporting the local community.
