Scouts is not just something you do once a week; it’s something you are. Scouts are people who want to live a certain way and display values like caring for others, looking after the planet and having a positive outlook on life.
Our Group, the 4th Radlett Scout Group, was formed in 1983 by Simon Pyzer. We are part of Elstree District and Hertfordshire County. Today we have an active Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop run by dedicated volunteers who run weekly meetings during term time and organise events and camps.
We meet in the hall behind Radlett Reform Synagogue, who kindly allow us use of their facilities. We take part in District events such as cooking competitions, St George’s Day and assist with leading the service at Remembrance parade held at the Radlett War Memorial every year.
We are proud of our young people who do their best to enjoy and live up to modern Scouting values that we aim to instil.
