Harperbury is a community based lawn bowls club located at the old Harperbury Hospital site (now Kingsley Green) between Radlett and Shenley and serving the community of south St Albans.
Harperbury is affiliated to Bowls England; Hertfordshire Bowls; St Albans & District Bowls Association; St Albans & District Ladies Bowls Association and Watford and District Bowls Association.
We have nearly 100 members within the bowling (full); associate and Junior / student catagories and we play the full range of matches from roll ups and friendlies against other local clubs to competing in all the local and national tournaments.
The club has its own full size 6 rink green, which is often voted as one of the best in the area by opposing teams.
The club owns its own specially adapted and motorised bowls wheelchair and we actively welcome disabled bowlers.
In addition to bowling, club members benefit from a full range of other social activities including whist and games in the winter; walks and rambles and quizzes to name a few as well as trips away to Potters and other bowls venues.
